Embrean-Flamaguayan Treaty of Mutual Assistance

The Embrean-Flamaguayan Treaty of Mutual Assistance is a bilateral treaty between the two states, with the objective of mutually securing their own position. Embrea and Flamaguay are obliged to defend each other from Wallasean threats, in effect bringing both into conflict against either Prekovy or Cockaygne and Praetonia.

Treaty contents

Article 1
In the event that Embrea or Flamaguay are subject to threat of aggression on the part of a Wallasean entity, Flamaguay and Embrea engage themselves in a reciprocal partnership proceeding to an immediate mutual consultation regarding the dangers of aggression on their territorial integrity and political independence.
Article 2
In the event that consultations determine that Embrea or Flamaguay may be, in spite of the honest goodwill and civilized conduct of the two countries, subject of an unprovoked threat of aggression on the part of a Wallasean entity, Flamaguay and Embrea will, without delay, lend each other reciprocal aid and assistance.
Article 3
In the event that aggressive action is taken against Embrea or Flamaguay by a Wallasean entity, Flamaguay and Embrea engage themselves reciprocally to undertake the necessary burden of entering a state of military mobilization simultaneously, with the singular objective of restoring peace to the continent by ensuring the continued territorial integrity of Embrea and Flamaguay, the continued political autonomy of Flamaguay and Embrea, and the establishment of all necessary guarantees to ensure the safety of Embrea and Flamaguay.
Article 4
In order to ensure an appropriate, timely, and measured response by Flamaguay and Embrea, both states shall cooperate in matters of security and national defense. Embrea and Flamaguay shall each contribute equally to field two joint divisions in Wallasea, with one division always deployed in the field.
